Here’s some good news: Election voting trackers tell us millions of Americans have already voted in this midterm election.

Early voting turnout is setting new records in crucial states like Georgia, Texas, California, New York, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. For example, one in five registered voters has already voted in Georgia.

But here’s why we’re urgently reaching out, friends:

The U.S. Elections Project shows more Democrats have voted early this cycle -- 45.2% compared to only 33.3% of Republicans, though Republican totals have crept up over the past week while Democrats' have decreased — ABC NEWS, 10/31/2022
