We need your help with the humanitarian crisis at the border.

John,

Your child spikes a fever and there is no medicine to give her, or even a clean mattress to rest on. The only bathrooms are overflowing with filth. There is not enough clean water, so people are always sick.

NO ONE should have to suffer conditions intentionally created by Trump’s cruel immigration policy -- but you can help.

Can you donate urgently so our Families Belong Together team in Tijuana can help families right now?

Donate $10: Enough for soap and hot water for a place to shower

Donate $20: Enough for a clean mattress for a family

Donate $50: Enough to ensure secure transportation to critical asylum appointments

Donate $100: Enough for medication for a month at a shelter

Thank you,
Paola and the Families Belong Together team

Families Belong Together

John,

I treat children and families here in Tijuana, and I've heard it all: Stories of untold violence, desperation, and mothers who will do anything to keep their children safe.

Their suffering is intentional, designed by the Trump administration to break their will and crush their dreams of finding safety. It's especially cruel at this time of year -- families should be able to be together and safe. You can help.

Donate now to help provide immediate relief to a suffering family this holiday season and to help our ongoing fight against these policies:

Donate $10: Enough for soap and hot water for a place to shower

Donate $20: Enough for a clean mattress for a family

Donate $50: Enough to ensure secure transportation to critical asylum appointments

Donate $100: Enough for medication for a month at a shelter

Families Belong Together works with dozens of shelters across the city to provide mental health services, humanitarian aid, shelter support, and compassion to the thousands of victims of Trump's cruel immigration policy.

I would be lying if I said it was easy. Mothers, fathers, and kids are crammed into crowded shelters, exhausted and scared, surrounded by filth. Many are sick because they aren't getting the care they need.

Our team provides medication, mental health services, beds -- whatever humanitarian supplies families need to get a moment of relief.

You would be surprised how far one small act of kindness can go.

There are tens of thousands of families stuck in Tijuana because of the policy known as "Remain in Mexico," and the overrun shelters are often in dangerous parts of the city.

But neither the United States nor the Mexican government is taking responsibility for the conditions in the camps, leaving people to suffer -- unless compassionate people like you step in to help.

It shouldn't be this way -- thousands of people's lives and basic dignity shouldn't have to depend on the kindness of strangers. The appalling conditions at the border are a complete moral and policy failure by the Trump Administration.

But as we fight like hell to stop this government-sponsored cruelty, I want to make sure we're also doing everything possible to ease the suffering of these families. If you agree, your generous gift right now will do both.

Thank you for your support and best wishes this holiday season,
