John, this is an outrage: Cheri Beasley simply isn’t getting the support from the national Democratic party that she needs (and so rightfully DESERVES).

There’s no doubt that sending Black progressive champion Cheri Beasley to the Senate would be a HUGE win — not just for Democrats, but for our country and our democracy itself.

There are zero Black women currently serving in the Senate, and only two Black women have served in the Senate in our nation’s history. If the Democratic institution doesn’t care about changing that, it’s up to all of us to pick up the slack.
