We’re talking about candidates like Mark Finchem in Arizona, Jim Marchant in Nevada, and Doug Mastriano in Pennsylvania, all of whom took part in the January 6 insurrection and led efforts in their states to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

If even one or two of these candidates win, they will be positioned to throw out votes, appoint fake electors, and block certification of the 2024 presidential election.

But since the mainstream media largely ignores down-ballot races, many voters, especially young people and first-time voters, might not even know the names of the candidates running for secretary of state and other key election administration offices in their states.

That’s why Inequality Media Civic Action has launched a massive final push to sound the alarm. But time is running short, and we’re counting on donations from supporters like you to get the message out.

According to the States United Democracy Center, a nonpartisan pro-democracy organization, there are 13 states with Big Lie election deniers on the ballot for secretary of state, the key office that oversees elections in most states.

In addition, they count 20 states with election deniers running for governor, including states like Pennsylvania, where the governor appoints the secretary of state.

Together, these states represent 293 electoral votes where Big Lie conspiracy theorists could be in charge of overseeing the election or certifying the results in 2024. To be clear, not all of these candidates are likely to win, but many of them are running neck-and-neck or even leading in the polls.

Friends, this is not a drill. This is the election that could determine whether American democracy survives the Donald Trump nightmare, or collapses under the weight of conspiracy theories and election denial.

With voting already underway, we are using all our social media platforms to alert voters about the election deniers on the ballot before they cast their ballots. But with so little time remaining, we need your help.
