Affordable Housing, Clean Energy, Gun Violence Prevention |
It's Almost 2020 . . . Happy New Year Friend! As a native Nevadan and Renoite, I am proud to serve communities here in Northern Nevada. My decision to join IPN was partly based on the amount of support this team gives to partner organizations. As I'm digging deep into the things that matter here in the north, I'm hearing again and again about the issues that are difficult for working families and the value of the work progressive partners and allies accomplish year-after-year. Affordable housing, clean energy, and gun violence prevention are all issues that folks in our northern counties care about. These are great examples of the issues that IPN works to solve every day. Can you make a small year-end gift to support us? Your generosity will help us grow our Story Bank Project, develop and publish research, support our incredible partners and allies, and teach Nevadans how to make progress by talking about the struggles and victories they encounter. If you ask me #WhatsYourWhy, these issues and how they affect so many Northern Nevadans is why I do this work. I've talked to parents who, because of gun violence, are so scared to send their kids to public school that they're now home-schooling. These parents are begging for a solution to the non-stop violence we see in the U.S. I've talked to families who are working so many hours they barely see their children. They are working those hours so they can pay rent and provide basic necessities to their families. At IPN we want to make sure Nevadans get the opportunity to flourish. We cannot continue to do this important work without the unwavering support of folks like you. That’s why I am asking you to make a tax-deductible contribution so we can make 2020 an even brighter year. The issues we face are big but by working together we can overcome and prevail. Please give generously - we truly appreciate it! Happy New Year! Amber Falgout |
