Hello from Jackson, Mississippi! Julia and I just touched down for a quick trip to meet up with some of our partners and grantees across the state. We're about to hop in the car with Charles, Groundwork's Southern Organizing Advisor & The Ultimate Mississippi Tour Guide, and head out to the Delta for the afternoon.
As you can imagine, the state is brimming with activity. From next week's election to the ongoing water crisis in Jackson and the frontlines of the biggest issue fights in the country, like abortion access, our partners and friends are in full gear.
It’s important to us that you can be part of all the excitement here on the ground! Julia, Charles and I will be over on Groundwork Instagram with real-time updates for the rest of the week. Be sure to follow our page and watch our story updates here. [[link removed]]
There’s a lot on the horizon (new grantee announcements coming soon!) and we wouldn’t be able to do this crucial work without your support, so thank you!
Stay tuned,
Emily
