Friend, this is a people-powered campaign that refuses all corporate PAC money--and that's for a reason.

I want our base of support to reflect who this campaign is fighting for--and that's the American people.

I get to step inside the small businesses that make communities tick, meet their owners, and learn how business is going. I learn what's keeping communities up at night, whether it's worries about health care, paying for a child's college education, or responding to the climate crisis.

Every day on the trail, I learn something new about the people of our country. I hear personal stories of loss, hope, setback and victory. Hearing those stories is what keeps me going.

In Detroit, I was honored to participate in important discussions about the future of voting rights at the NAACP Convention.

In Iowa, I did the RAGBRAI (The Des Moines Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa) with a team of dedicated supporters. Our long-distance rides were interspersed with long, forthright conversations about the concerns of Iowans. Although our steeds were bicycles, it didn't interfere with our collective spirit of Giddy Up!

And in New Hampshire, I did a bit of sparring with a spirited young debate team in Hanover, full of arguments, questions and concerns over the future of our country, from the climate crisis to the burdens of student debt.

Speaking of debates--mine is on Tuesday. And in order to keep traveling the country and listening to Americans face to face, I'll need your help, both to build our resources and to reach our goal of 130,000 unique supporters.

Will you chip in to help us keep going?

Thank you,
