John,
Across the country, progressive candidates are under attack for our support of Palestinian human rights.
In Michigan, we saw my colleague Rep. Andy Levin lose his re-election campaign after AIPAC-aligned groups jumped in to defeat him. This also happened in Illinois with Rep. Marie Newman.
In Pennsylvania, Summer Lee narrowly won her Democratic primary, but only after groups seeking to maintain an unjust status quo spent big on disinformation ads that cut her lead in the final weeks of her race. Now, with Election Day less than a week away, they’re at it again.
As the daughter of Palestinian immigrants, every day I’m in Congress is a daily reminder to my colleagues that the Palestinian people exist, that we are human, and that we are allowed to dream.
People power is what is fueling our campaign―with an average contribution of just $21.
With Election Day just under one week away, will you chip in $21 today to send me back to Congress to fight for you?
Together, we’re ensuring the voices of marginalized people are always represented in the halls of power.
In solidarity,
Rashida

John,
As progressives for Palestinian rights have built power within the Democratic Party, we’ve seen a concerted effort to defeat us—or to divide us from other progressives.
This year, AIPAC’s new PAC and its aligned groups spent millions in many states’ primaries to defeat progressives aligned in support of Palestinian human rights. Unfortunately, many of these attempts were successful.
Rashida’s Michigan colleague and fierce ally Rep. Andy Levin recently lost his re-election campaign after AIPAC-aligned groups like the Democratic Majority for Israel (DMFI) Super PAC waded into the race. DMFI also went hard against Palestinian rights supporter Rep. Marie Newman, who also lost her re-election.
Throughout 2022’s primary elections, DMFI and other aligned groups also targeted new progressive congressional candidates—or offered their support if the candidates changed their stances on Palestine.[1]
This new push to intimidate and defeat progressive candidates is partly because of Rashida’s presence in Congress. It's clear that those who want to continue the unjust status quo—including apartheid against Palestinians—feel threatened by Rashida.
Rashida is not afraid to speak truth to power, including when it comes to Palestinian rights and freedoms. And even though she’s been targeted by these anti-Palestinian groups, she has people power on her side.
Rashida relies on everyday people to power her campaign―with an average contribution of just $21. With Election Day just one week away, will you donate $21 today to send Rashida back to Congress to fight for marginalized people, including Palestinians?
Rashida has spent her career fighting for her community in Detroit and for marginalized people everywhere. And she’s supporting candidates with similar values who are also rooted in their communities.
We need Rashida’s continued leadership in Congress to keep up the fight for human rights at home and abroad―to speak truth to power in the face of unrelenting attacks.
Donate $21 today to help re-elect Rashida and continue to fight back against the unjust status quo.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your secure donation will go through immediately:
Thank you for always having Rashida’s back.
