John -- Grassroots, people-powered campaigns are known for one thing: they rely almost solely on the support of many individual supporters who give what they can. Campaigns like ours don’t take corporate PAC or corporate lobbyist money. Yes, that means we have to fight extra hard against establishment candidates who take billions from corporate special interests, but it’s a battle we’re happy to fight.
We know a government for us and by us will only be possible when we get Big Money out of government.
Right now, people don't feel heard or represented. They see our elected representatives get nothing done because they only answer to big donors and special interests instead of answering to the PEOPLE.
That's why I’ve joined the non-Big Money progressive movement that’s sweeping this country. But it still costs a lot to run a successful U.S. Senate campaign, and if we’re going to send Ernst packing and replace her with a true advocate for the people, we need to keep up. We need your help immediately to do that.
Today’s the fourth quarter FEC filing deadline. This is the most important deadline of our campaign because people will evaluate our fundraising numbers from this quarter to determine how viable our campaign is. Everything rides on those numbers. Plus, we need to meet our December fundraising goal of $20,000 just to maintain the resources we need to execute our ground strategy.
