YOUR GIFT TODAY CAN HELP SAVE LIVES BY REMOVING HORRIFIC TRAPS

Dear John

We are writing today to ask for your urgent help. Lions are suffering and desperately need your support.

Moja – a mighty adult lion – lies stricken, caught tight in a wire snare in Meru National Park, Kenya. The deadly noose cuts deep into his neck and he is in agonising pain.

Please act now to save lives and stop suffering like this. ( [link removed] )

Please give a gift today to save lives and stop this senseless suffering ( [link removed] )

Be a guardian angel for lions like Moja and donate today ( [link removed] )

The lethal noose was set illegally to trap wild animals as food, often for illegal sale in city markets, and Moja’s injuries are horrific, the pain unthinkable.

The mighty 11-year-old controls two prides in Meru National Park and, devastatingly, this is the third time in two years he has been snared.

But, with your help, there is hope and together we can save lives. Your donation today ( [link removed] ) could fund the daily efforts of our life-saving team in Meru, removing deadly wire snares before they can do more damage.

Already under threat from habitat loss, lions are being persecuted across Africa. But, it’s not just the torment of individual lions. This is a conservation crisis. In recent decades, thousands have been killed. Today, as few as 20,000 cling to survival – a terrifying 90% decline in just fifty years. Lions are officially ‘vulnerable to extinction’ and could become extinct across much of their range by 2050.

Africa without lions? Unthinkable – we can’t let this happen! Your gift today could help save this iconic species and stop their exploitation.

You’re probably wondering about Moja’s fate. Thankfully, working with the Kenya Wildlife Service, our team was able to save him from an agonising, drawn-out death. A few months on, his wounds have healed. He is still the king!

Please support our life-saving work to clear Meru of these deadly traps. Please give what you can to our Saving Lions Together Appeal today. ( [link removed] )

Thank you so much!
