Like her fantasy namesake, Galadriel turkey is known for her elegance and beauty. Unfortunately, she didn't always get the royal treatment she deserved.

We rescued Galadriel from another sanctuary that didn't provide the refuge it promised. For years, she and hundreds of other animals lacked proper food, shelter, and medical attention. Farm Sanctuary helped provide urgent care and brought Galadriel home to our New York shelter.

Galadriel "The Graceful" loves the finer things in life, from bathing through the soil to relaxing in the sun. Though shy around people, she's gentle and kind and enjoys the company of a few cherished turkey friends.
