As usual, at this time of year, it’s time to review what we did over the past year, take note of what we still have to do and plan what we want to do for the next year.

This is something many of us do on a personal level, I know I do, and of course, I apply the same principles to the activities of CitizenGO. I believe it’s the only way for us to move forward and accomplish more things together as a community.

In 2019 we made a tremendous impact on our campaigns and actions, defending life, family, and freedom.

Let me be clear - none of this would have been possible without you.

Please excuse my directness.  Before I review some of what you and I achieved in 2019, I want to ask you to support our work for 2020 and beyond by becoming a supporter of CitizenGO. 

The success of our campaigns and actions relies on our economic capability to reach and mobilize millions of committed citizens who share the values that you and I defend at CitizenGO. Can you make a donation now?

In an email sent a few days ago, Gregory Mertz was mentioning our unstoppable and priceless impact that your support to CitizenGO made possible in 2019.

Together we have achieved many victories defending life, family, and freedom.

I’ll briefly remind you here of some of these successful actions:

• You helped to save Asia Bibi, so that she is now safe and sound with her family, after 10 years of suffering.

• You gave Tafida an opportunity to live. You helped to free young Tafida Raqeeb from a heartless medical bureaucracy that wanted to kill her by withholding life-saving treatment. Thanks to supporters like you, CitizenGO generated nearly 300,000 petitions and held prayer vigils worldwide for little Tafida. Now she is in Italy receiving the medical care she needs.

• You prevented the publication of the blasphemous comic “Second coming” that DC Comics, a giant in the comic industry, wanted to publish.

• You supported and spread the pro-life movie “Unplanned”, that the movie majors wanted to censor. We got to screen it in many cinemas, creating an astounding impact against the abortion industry and in favor of the pro-life movement.

• You faced the Disney giant. And just a few weeks ago, we went to deliver almost half a million petitions to Walt Disney World headquarters in Orlando, USA, to counter the push to saturate their productions with the LGBTI lobby’s corrupt message.

But none of this comes without a cost.

During 2019, CitizenGO was relentlessly attacked because we are so effective.

The enemies of liberty, the pro-death culture advocates, the groups which spread and impose the infamous gender ideology, the left in general and the progressive liberal establishment, just don’t want us to keep functioning so effectively.  

• Our success in Spain brought the socialist Government to attack HazteOir (our sister organization), arbitrarily removing the declaration of public interest (so that its donors won’t have any fiscal advantage through tax breaks).
• Our United Kingdom Campaigns Director and dear friend Caroline Farrow is facing prison. A radical transgender activist is suing her under a law designed to punish anyone who opposes the LGBTI agenda. Her legal bills are piling up as I write you this, and the outcome of her case remains to be seen.
• We suffered furious attacks by some hackers, who tried (and for a while succeeded) to block our website and the development of our campaigns.
• The leftist establishment media have attacked us many times with lies and distortions because we didn’t submit ourselves to the orders of their paymasters (among others, George Soros).

But they won’t stop us.

Together, with your support and that of many more thousands of CitizenGO members (CitizenGOers) worldwide, we will be able to generate impact and an unstoppable movement, even if they attack us and try to block us.

Can I count on you, with your donation, to carry on our UNSTOPPABLE work during 2020?

We face giants with almost unlimited funds and resources.

Governments and administrations, huge multinationals and firms, very powerful groups and lobbies with nine-figure budgets.

For sure they are big and powerful, but they are not right.

At CitizenGO we don’t have these unlimited means… but we don’t need them either.

On several occasions, we have shown that, with limited and austere resources, we can generate a huge impact.

And to plan audacious and fearless campaigns.

Like these (they are just a sample) that we have planned for 2020 and that we are already preparing and intensively working on:

• Oppose the radical pro-abortion and transgenderism agendas at the powerful United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in 2020
• Increase the reach of the moving pro-life movie “Unplanned” to more and more countries
• End gender ideology indoctrination in Disneyland and in Disney films and productions
• Keep LGBTI lobby symbols out of FIFA soccer events
• Continue to impact elections and legislation on behalf of life, family, and liberty
• On top of all this, we must continue to defend our friend Caroline and be ready to face new attacks, whatever and wherever they may be.

Whether or not we can run these campaigns or whether or not we will reach the goals we have targeted, everything depends on how much we will be able, among all of us, to boost them.

And you know, let me mention this as quite a personal affair, we will keep on defending our dear colleague Caroline Farrow, as long as it takes.

Because she is one of us and because they attack her because she defends what you and I defend.

And beyond all of it, we have to consider unexpected expenses and attacks that for sure we will receive again.

We will do all of this and we are ready for whatever it takes if you and the rest of the CitizenGO family will support us.

P.S. Everyone here at CitizenGO is working hard to meet our end-of-year deadlines and finalizing our plans for 2020, based on the responses CitizenGOers have sent us on the survey we sent out some days ago.

The following days and weeks will play a large role in shaping our programs in the year ahead.

P.S. 2: We are independent. At CitizenGO we don’t receive government grants or public funds (nor we want them), neither do we rely on taxation incomes. We do our job and we pay the expenses of our campaigns and actions with the resources that we, among all of us, put together.

We don’t have big companies, corporations or lobby groups behind us, financing our work.

The CitizenGO community is completely independent of powerful lobby groups or high net worth individuals,  it doesn’t report to anybody except to its members.

For this reason, it’s important and urgent to put together enough resources to finance our campaigns in 2020, so that our actions won’t rely on anything but ourselves.

If you and I and the other CitizenGOers won’t do it, nobody will.
