I can't thank you enough for all that we've done together this year. From 33 town halls to 28 bills introduced, we've accomplished a lot.
But we know that progress doesn't march forward on its own.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom."

In 2019, we secured aid for family farmers through the Family Farm Relief Act. We passed legislation to improve benefits for underserved veterans. We successfully amended bills to include funding for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of Lyme Disease.
We took action to ban corporate PACs.
We worked to provide families and small businesses with a low-cost, public health insurance option with the Medicare-X Choice Act. We fought to ensure affordable prescription drugs by finally allowing the government to negotiate prices with pharmaceutical companies.
We worked to increase access to high-speed broadband in rural areas so all communities have genuine access to opportunity and economic growth. We took on climate change and fighting for the green jobs of the future through my Green Jobs and Opportunity Act.
And together, we're just getting started.
You play such an important role in helping me take on special interests and stand up for everyday Americans by fighting for our shared values.
You are the heart and soul of this campaign, and I will never forget that. The work continues in 2020 -- no matter how much money the other side spends to try and tear us down.
