Wow, friend, I just stepped off the stage at a grassroots rally with President Barack Obama and I am more fired up and inspired to fight than I've ever been. Together, President Obama and I spoke to Nevada voters about everything that's on the line in this race – reproductive rights, our Democratic Senate majority, the future of free and fair elections and our very democracy. Truly, all of it comes down to whether I hold this seat – because if we lose, Democrats cannot hold the Senate.

But there is grave cause for concern: as we were on stage, and as I write to you now, Mitch McConnell is bombarding Nevada's airwaves with ads viciously attacking me – just as new polling shows me statistically tied with my Trump-backed opponent.

I left the stage feeling so hopeful, but that hope is now mixed with unease about McConnell’s newest barrage of attack ads. I’m worried that if we’re outspent and drowned out on the airwaves in these final days, with minimal resources to fight back, we will lose.

My team and I set a goal to raise $500,000 before the end of the rally because it’s our ONLY chance of winning this race, but I just heard we fell short.
