I just wanted to reach out with a quick reminder about the $200,000 pre-debate goal we set this morning. And to give you more context about why I hope you’ll make your first donation to help us meet it.

First, the basics: Throughout the cycle, we set lots of fundraising goals to keep us on track. We plan out things like how many TV ads we can run and how many staffers we can hire based on what we can expect to raise from month to month, week to week, and even day to day. 

With just 7 days until Election day, meeting our goals is more important (and urgent) than ever.

While many of the goals we set are based on our internal math and fundraising benchmarks, this one is based on one of the most important moments of the final days of this campaign. 

What we raise (or fail to raise) before I step on stage, will inform how we plan out our post-debate, pre-Election Day strategy.

With the newest polling showing me down one to Don Bolduc and just days to pull ahead, this debate has come at a make-or-break moment for our campaign.
