We’re one week out, how are you feeling?
We’re officially one week out from Election Day and we get it — emotions are probably running high.
Your inbox is filled to the brim with emails from candidates, you’re seeing new polls pop up every day, and every headline seems to include the phrase, “neck and neck.”
Before we share a few tips on how to get through election week, we want to hear from you. Will you take our quick Pre-Election Survey to let us know how you’re feeling, what your voting plan is, and if there’s anything you need help with to get out and vote?

Now, here are some tips and reminders to get you through election week.
- Your worries are valid. There’s a lot at stake in this election. We need to work really, really hard because we are still very much at a very critical precipice of fascism in this country. If you’re feeling stressed, sign up to phone bank for a candidate or chip in to support a candidate like Summer Lee.
- Be intentional about your news intake. Cable news can be especially fear-mongering, so consider setting some limits or reading articles instead.
- Polling data is a data point, but it’s not the end all be all. If anything, it should act as a motivator.
- Make sure your friends and family have a plan to vote. Offer to drive them to the polls, or send them resources about where to vote and what’s on their ballot.
- Lastly, remember that no matter what happens, we have each other's backs and that our movement is stronger than any single election outcome.
