This is a tough email for me to send.

I was really hoping to reach out with a positive update about the state of Utah’s Senate race and the positive headlines we’re seeing about our campaign nationwide.

But instead, I’m coming to you with some bad news: We didn’t hit our End-of-Month fundraising goal last night.

As a valuable member of this team, I know you understand how important it is to hit our goals in this final stretch of the campaign.

And unfortunately, if we don’t make up the difference ASAP, it will have a negative impact on our ability to replace Mike Lee in a week's time.

I’m so sorry, but I have to ask: Will you chip in a few bucks immediately to fill our fundraising gap and make sure we have the resources to reach undecided voters, turn out our supporters, and win Utah’s battleground Senate race?

We have to keep up the momentum if we’re going to win next Tuesday.

Let’s get back on track and win this pivotal election!
