We have just hours to go to reach our $50,000 matching challenge. Hundreds of CREW supporters have donated and two generous donors are matching donations to support our fight against corruption—will you join them by making a double-matched donation now?
Meeting this goal means we’ll have the resources we need to continue fighting corruption and confronting presidential abuses of power head on. As President Trump’s trial in the Senate approaches, it’s clear that 2020 is going to bring enormous challenges—but as we continue to fight corruption, it will also bring new opportunities to push for ethical, transparent government.
Every day, our democracy is being damaged by President Trump and his unprecedented corruption, obstruction of Congress and abuses of power. But President Trump’s impeachment in the House has shown that he can’t escape accountability forever. Here at CREW, we’ve uncovered thousands of conflicts of interest and ethical scandals, held senior government officials accountable for their unethical behavior, helped the public nationwide and leaders here in Washington understand why the president’s abuses demand action and held the administration to account through innovative legal actions.
We’re proud to be working for accountability, and here’s one thing I can promise: in 2020, we’ll keep leading the fight.
With hours to go before our $50,000 matching challenge ends, help us keep up the fight. Missing this goal would mean that CREW will start 2020 off without all the resources we need. Make a double-matched donation now, and ensure that in 2020, President Trump’s corruption will never go unchallenged.
Thank you and best wishes for a happy and healthy new year,
Donald Sherman
Deputy Director, CREW
