John, this is Adrian Fontes. I'm running for Arizona Secretary of State against election denier Mark Finchem, who was at the Jan 6 insurrection and now wants to control Arizona's elections in 2024.

As a former Marine, I know that the fight to protect democracy against extremists like Mark Finchem will have profound consequences. I wanted to take a moment to share with you why this race for Arizona Secretary of State is so important to me.

FIRST: I enlisted in the U.S. Marines, making a promise to support and defend the Constitution from all threats, foreign and domestic.

THEN: I successfully ran the 2020 Maricopa County elections, the most scrutinized election in our country's history, and passed every test.

NOW: Extremists are trampling on our democracy with voter suppression and fraudulent claims of rigged elections, undermining our fair and free elections.

John, I truly believe that the promise I took as a Marine is something more than just a promise. It's representative of the American way of life, and I will never back down from protecting the Constitution from those who wish to do it harm.

But I can't do this alone. Extremists, like my opponent Mark Finchem, want to make voting harder so they can control election outcomes and ensure their agenda wins. The PCCC has helped fuel my campaign to protect democracy with thousands of grassroots donations. Together, we can defeat this extremism.
