Climate change is set to disrupt every aspect of life, with vulnerable communities set to sustain disproportionate impacts. For smaller countries and those without access to fresh water, this disruption poses an existential threat. It is crucial that concerted, concrete steps are made to mitigate and manage these oncoming challenges, and to ensure a just transition to a more sustainable future.

What would these steps entail? How can the most vulnerable communities be prioritized? How can investments be effectively targeted?

Join Foreign Policy, in partnership with the Climate Investment Funds (CIF), at COP27 on November 9, for a special live taping of the acclaimed podcast Heat of the Moment. This event will focus on the responsibilities that developed countries have to states set to bear the brunt of climate change, and what factors can contribute to a just and equitable transition.
