Public comment opportunities detailed for Central Kitsap Community Council meeting Nov. 2
The Central Kitsap Community Council is excited about its monthly meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 2, focusing on presentations from Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue and St. Michael Medical Center. The meeting is scheduled for 90 minutes and the Council expects to stick closely to the posted agenda (CKCC Agenda).
The agenda includes two 15-minute presentations from the featured speakers. This will be followed by 30 minutes of questions, first from Community Council members and then the audience. We expect a large crowd and the 30 minutes will likely not allow time for everyone to have an opportunity to ask their questions and comment at the meeting. However, there will be other options provided during the presentations to submit questions and comments and get responses afterwards. We encourage everyone to use these avenues to further the conversation.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. and takes place in person only at the Ridgetop Middle School Cafeteria, 10600 Hillsboro Dr. NW, Silverdale. The meeting was moved to this location to accommodate a larger audience anticipated to be interested in these topics. Parking is somewhat limited, so the Council encourages carpooling. Please do not park in any 'no parking areas,' including fire lanes, to maintain safety at the event.
