The short answer: We’re going to work harder than the other side.

Here it is in a nutshell:

About 5 million Texas Democrats voted in the 2020 election. We can estimate that about 1.1 million Texas Democrats have already voted in the 2022 election.

|
That leaves about 3.9 million Texas Democrats who voted in 2020 but haven’t yet voted in 2022.
|
|
|
|
These are 3.9 million solid anti-Abbott votes that we can’t afford to have stay home.

|
|
|
MAGAthegood has already sent targeted text messages to 1.3 million Texas Democrats who we need to turn out and vote.
|
|
|
|
We’ve identified another 1.7 million Texas Democrats who we need to go vote and who we can reach by text—for a total of 3 million out of 3.9 million.

|
|
That’s 1.7 million additional text messages. We can send them right now . . . but we need your help.
At three cents per text message, that’s $51,000. So we’re asking for $50,000.
