NEWPORT BEACH, CA - Today, the highly respected Cook Political Report has moved the race in CA47 to "TOSS-UP", meaning it is now one of the closest races in the country that will determine whether Republicans take control of the House of Representatives.

The Cook Report rating change follows behind a change to "toss-up" from the well-regarded Real Clear Politics website HERE ([link removed]) .

"The enthusiasm in the precincts has been sky-high all summer and fall and the Washington DC prognosticators are now confirming what we have known all along," said Scott Baugh. "We are going to win this race."

“Given that Congresswoman Porter has spent millions of dollars more than her opponent and groups supporting her opponent, and still this race has shifted shows both that her politics are not a good fit for this new district, and the strength of Baugh’s candidacy,” said political strategist Jon Fleischman, publisher of the well regarded FlashReport Website on California Politics.
