*Latest System Updates*

In October, we released new updates to improve your experience on data.census.gov [ [link removed] ]. With this release, you will now see:


* Comparisons for multiple geographies in the Geography Profiles
* Improved performance of Geography Profiles
* Full display of survey/program titles
* Continued search engine optimization
* Fixes to 12 defects

A primary feature of the release is to allow more comparisons in the Geography Profiles. This applies to geographies that do not fit neatly within the comparison geography. For example, ZIP Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs) that cross state boundaries. With this update, you will now see data comparisons to both states that ZCTA falls within.

We also improved the speed of the Geography Profiles. Featured statistics at the top of the page now load more quickly as you access the profiles.

When viewing tables and maps with this release, you will now see the full survey or program name. This improved header makes it easier to see the source information.

Finally, we performed behind-the-scenes technical work to add more descriptive content to the Geography Profiles. This makes it easier for external search engines to better understand and link to the content on our site.
