I know you’ve been hearing a lot about our statewide races here in Texas, but there are other critical races happening all over the state -- like the congressional race in TX-15. Michelle Vallejo is a fronteriza just like me, and we’re both fighting tooth and nail to ensure our state reflects our values.

There’s only one candidate in the TX-15 race who’s fighting to dismantle the corrupt systems that make working people’s lives harder. Michelle Vallejo is an advocate for Medicare expansion, a defender of reproductive justice, and a fighter for workers’ rights. She’s the clear choice in TX-15.

With everything that’s at stake in this election, we need Democratic leaders fighting for us at the state and federal levels. While Michelle will be fighting to codify abortion rights in Congress, I’ll be using the constitutional powers of the Texas Attorney General’s Office to protect the women of our state. While Michelle is working to pass voting rights protections in Washington, I'll be fighting tirelessly as the state’s top public defender to ensure everyone can cast a ballot.

Michelle has the vision. She has the guts. But she needs our support to pull out a win for her community. Knocking on doors from now until the last vote is cast on Election Day takes some serious people power. So Friend, will you split a $22 grassroots contribution between my campaign and a paid canvass for Michelle Vallejo to elect real leaders to represent our state?

We can do better for South Texans. We can do better for all Texans -- and we will do better. It starts with electing Michelle Vallejo to Congress and electing me as your next Attorney General.
