HEADLINE: In Pennsylvania, the Big Lie Is Spreading Its Roots -- The Washington Post

This is not the kind of news we want to see one week before a major election.

Our democracy is under assault from top to bottom, with even local election officials receiving unprecedented harassment and threats of violence.

But as they quote Chief Executive Office of the New Pennsylvania Project, Kadida Kenner, the threats to democracy are not enough to get out the vote: “We can’t get to the nitty-gritty of civic education if we can’t get past the first few obstacles, which are the pocketbook issues.” Will you chip in $10 right now to help us show voters how their vote can make a difference on the issues?

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in under-represented communities of color and immigrant communities. We will register them to vote, provide education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize people to vote in every election.
