After decades of their being left behind, President Donald Trump has helped grow a full-blown blue-collar boom that can be felt on manufacturing floors in Ohio, at steel production facilities in Pennsylvania and construction sites in Wisconsin. Instead of dismissing Americas blue-collar workers, as politicians had done for decades, the Trump administration has fought for them and won.

US Seeks Japan's Alliance On Nuclear Energy - Commerce Secretary Ross [ [link removed] ]
The United States is seeking Japan's assistance in making nuclear energy an essential part of its energy mix, US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said.
"Nuclear is and must remain an essential part of our energy mix long into the future," Ross said in a speech to the US-Japan Roundtable Washington Conference on Wednesday. "To make that happen, the United States is working with allies like Japan to assure the efficient licensing and construction of a new generation of inherently safe and economically viable reactors."

U.S. International Investment Position Third Quarter 2019 [ [link removed] ]
The U.S. net international investment position, the difference between U.S. residents foreign financial assets and liabilities, was $10.95 trillion at the end of the third quarter of 2019, according to statistics released by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). Assets totaled $28.26 trillion and liabilities were $39.21 trillion. At the end of the second quarter, the net investment position was $10.61 trillion.

This two-day program is led by BIS's professional counseling staff and provides an in-depth examination of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). As we close the books on 2019, NTIA took stock of strides made in the past year on key Administration priorities. Census Bureau Projects U.S. And World Populations on New Years Day [ [link removed] ]
As the nation prepares to ring in the new year, the U.S. Census Bureau projects the U.S. population will be 330,222,422 on Jan. 1, 2020. This represents an increase of 1,991,085, or 0.61%, from New Years Day 2019. Since Census Day (April 1) 2010, the population has grown by 21,476,884 or 6.96%.
