Nonpartisan election workers are the people who make sure our democracy is
working. But after the 2020 election, people called, texted, and emailed
them with thousands of graphic, visceral, and specific threats on their
lives. Now, experts are predicting the same thing will happen after the
midterm elections next week.^1

the crisis America’s election workers are facing and show the nation how

Election workers are the backbone of our democracy. They are our neighbors
and fellow members of our community. They’re trying to do their job and

our support – not threats on their lives.
