Dear John,
We stand on the cusp of a monumental midterm election. Often ignored, poor and low-income voters make up one-third of the electorate and have the power to fundamentally shift the political landscape of this country.
In September, we set a goal to reach 5 million low-income, low propensity voters in an effort to mobilize them to the polls. With 8 Days left until Election Day and with your help, we’ve exceeded our goal, reaching 5.1 million low-income, low propensity voters.
However, our work is far from over. We must see the millions we’ve reached out to, and many more, show up to the polls and vote on their interests. Our votes are not a show of support, but demands for policies that lift from the bottom.
