As we see young Black, Indigenous, and other voters of color slowly become the majority, we will see these voters playing a greater influence in the outcome of our elections, especially in swing states across the county.

Often ignored and disregarded, issues important to young voters are not prioritized by politicians, creating a missed opportunity to galvanize a significant and growing voting block.

Looking at the races in traditional purple states, mobilizing young voters will be the key to gaining control of Congress, winning Governor’s races, and passing initiatives that will benefit Black and Brown communities.

In an effort to provide more insight into what young people (Gen Z) of color care about & will mobilize them to vote, we partnered with HIIT strategies to poll young people of color in key swing states: Georgia, Virginia, Florida, and Michigan to give us insights into who they are.

How do you align with Gen Z voters in these swing states? Do you know what their priorities really are? Check out our poll to learn more [[link removed]]

Only 35% of those surveyed say that the quality ‘honest and trustworthy’ applies more to Democrats than Republicans, and 30% don’t believe this phrase describes either party. As we approach the 2022 midterms and move towards 2024, Gen Z voters of color will have a greater influence on our electoral politics. Parties and organizations looking to mobilize young people of color must seize the opportunity to build a vision that centers issues most critical to them.

Learn about what’s really important to our young voters. Learn how to grow power with them so we can build better and stronger communities. Check out our youth poll NOW! [[link removed]]
