DEROY MURDOCK,
FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR AND VETERAN BLACK CONSERVATIVE,
ENDORSES FRANK PALLOTTA FOR CONGRESS
Ramsey, NJ — Deroy Murdock, longtime Fox News contributor, veteran black conservative activist, and leading American intellectual, today endorsed 5th District Republican Congressional Candidate Frank Pallotta in the 2022 general election against incumbent Democrat Jeff Gottheimer.
“Jeff Gottheimer has pushed radical measures in Congress that have inflamed violent crime against New Jersey’s men, women and children,” Murdock said. “Gottheimer cosponsored the so-called George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, which discourage police officers from handcuffing rapists and murderers who prey on the people of New Jersey. Gottheimer cosponsored the so-called Clean Slate Act, which would help drug dealers hide while peddling poison to New Jersey’s children.”
“Make no mistake: Gottheimer and his fellow thug-hugging Democrats have made the people of New Jersey less safe in their homes and on their streets,” Murdock added. “And as a Manhattanite, I do not appreciate Gottheimer making life easy for violent hoodlums who are just one tunnel trip or PATH-ride away from where my friends, loved ones, and I live and work.”
“Meanwhile, Gottheimer voted for the fraudulently titled Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which gives the Internal Revenue Service an $80 billion bonus — six times its current $12.6 billion annual budget,” Murdock noted. “This includes $45.6 billion for enforcement, a 70% increase above today’s compulsion outlays. This jackpot will underwrite 86,852 new IRS agents and turbocharge its payroll from 93,654 to 180,506 — up 93%. Gottheimer weighed all of this and voted: Yes!”
“As Election Day approaches, Gottheimer is panicking over his dreadful record on crime and backing bills that appear to fund the police,” said Murdock. “New Jerseyans should not be fooled: like too many Biden Democrats, Gottheimer sides with the IRS agents and criminals who vote for him, not New Jersey’s voters who should not.”
“Josh Gottheimer: IRS agents’ best friend. Everyday taxpayers’ natural enemy. New Jersey voters should boot Gottheimer from Congress. Frank Pallotta would keep New Jersey safe and prosperous, and I am proud to endorse him.”
Mr. Murdock is a Fox News contributor, a contributing editor with National Review, and an alumnus of the 1980 and 1984 Reagan for President Campaign and the 2000 White House bid of New Jersey's own Steve Forbes. The views expressed here are his own.
“I am honored to receive Deroy’s endorsement,” said Pallotta. “His brilliant commentary and incisive wit elevate the American debate, and I’m proud that he’s standing with me in my bid to represent the good people of the Fifth Congressional District of New Jersey.”
