As the new year approaches, I wanted to take time to reflect on 2019.
At the beginning of the year, the Democratic majority took control of the agenda in the House of Representatives and they wasted no time introducing their radical plans. They started with H.R. 1, a bill disguised as reform for the people. It actually included taxpayer funding of campaigns, partisan election commissions and a $2.6 billion price tag.
It wasn't long until the witch hunt began with the accusation of "collusion." After millions of taxpayer dollars wasted, the Democrats came up short, no collusion. In their first 100 days, it became clear that Democratic leadership is lacking in leadership and results.
In the months that followed, we've seen more of the same - politics over people. Legislation that would have produced real results for the American people was ignored while impeachment took center stage. Speaker Pelosi is looking forward to bringing the Schiff sham into the new year.
The Democrats have been planning for 2020 all year. Their number one goal is defeating Donald J. Trump.
Now more than ever, it's crucial that we work with President Trump to ensure he's re-elected and ensure that we give him a Republican majority in Congress to lead the agenda in Washington.
I'm looking forward to 2020, it's going to be a great year!

As we kick off 2020, we'll need volunteers to collect petition signatures to have my name placed on the ballot for Congress in the 11th Congressional District. We'll be working hand in hand with the Trump campaign to recruit volunteers to knock doors, make phone calls, put up yard signs and host events.
