Friend, the 2022 election is here. Voting in Georgia is underway, and turnout is high.
All signs point to extremely close elections for Senate, Governor, and dozens of key races up and down the ballot.
So, I need you to do something for me: Text three (or more!) friends and family in Georgia and ask them to vote early by Friday, Nov. 4. If not, make sure they have a plan to vote on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8!
You can also copy and paste this information on the social media platform of your choice:
Key Georgia Election Dates:
• ASAP: Mail your completed vote-by-mail ballot.
• Friday, Nov. 4: Last day you can vote early in person.
• Tuesday, Nov. 8: Election Day! If voting by mail, your ballot must be received by your county elections office by 7 PM.
Questions about voting? Text or call the Georgia Voter Protection Hotline at 888-730-5816.
You and I might be following politics all year round, but many people won’t be tuning in until the very end. A text from a friend or family member can make all the difference.
As Democratic data expert
Tom Bonier put it: “The most likely outcome here is a very close election, and that means the work you do today, tomorrow, and for the next few days will matter.”
Thank you so much,
– Sarah
