GOVERNOR DESANTIS ROLLS IN DEBATE

Governor DeSantis blew past Charlie Crist during this week’s debate, relying on logic, facts and his record of unparalleled success, while Charlie gaslit history and lied throughout the debate because he and his party have nothing to offer Floridians.

Here’s what some RPOF leaders had to say after the debate:

BY NOT SHUTTING DOWN, FLORIDA SCORES HIGHEST STUDENT RANKINGS IN STATE HISTORY

Governor DeSantis announced the results of the 2022 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), which proved once again that keeping kids in school throughout 2020 and 2021 put Florida students well ahead of their peers.

In 2022, Florida’s 4th and 8th grade students earned the state’s highest rankings ever with a top 4 ranking in English and Math; and closed the gap at historic levels for at-risk students. Florida’s Hispanic students, black students and students with disabilities all scored in the top 10 in every category.

“We insisted on keeping schools open and guaranteed in-person learning in 2020 because we knew there would be widespread harm to our students if students were locked out,” Governor DeSantis said. “Today’s results once again prove that we made the right decision.”

Biden’s DHS refuses to do so.

“Biden’s refusal to enforce federal immigration laws passed by Congress is jeopardizing public safety, and as Attorney General I will continue to fight in court to force this administration to do its job and protect the American people,” Attorney General Moody said.
