Hey John, I’m reaching out simply to say thank you.
I know we asked a lot of you in the lead-up to our deadline, but we are starting the final week of this race in an incredibly strong position. The polls show us tied, nonpartisan experts have moved us up the rankings, and North Carolina Democrats are turning out in force during early voting.
When we launched this campaign, I pledged to you and the people of North Carolina that we would work harder than we ever had to flip this seat and give folks a voice in the U.S. Senate. We deserve better than another DC insider who is beholden to giant corporations and the ultra-wealthy.
So for the next 7 days, my team and I are going to leave it all on the field. With hard work and faith, we can deliver meaningful progress for our families. Together, we can fix the broken status quo that puts our democracy, our planet and our rights at risk.
I promise to be a champion for you and help level the playing field for everyone when we flip this seat. And I stand firm in my commitment to cast the decisive vote to end the filibuster and make real change in Washington.
