Friends,

Every year as we gather to celebrate the 4th of July, I reflect on the promise of America. And while we face many challenges as a nation, I have no doubt we will be able to work together to solve them.

I am so thankful to be your Congresswoman, and I am appreciative of all the support I have received across Southern Arizona. Every time I travel throughout our beautiful district, I am grateful to meet Arizona families and hear their stories.

Whether you are attending barbeques, watching fireworks or spending time with those close to you, I hope you are able to take a moment and reflect on our American experience -- how far we've come, and all the work we still have ahead of us.
