It’s truly an honor to receive President Barack Obama's endorsement. And today, I’m grateful to have President Obama joining me to speak about how important this race is.

President Obama knows what’s on the line in Nevada.

As your governor, I’ve fought for every single Nevadan by expanding child care, investing in affordable housing, raising teacher pay, and providing free school breakfast and lunch for every kid. As your governor, I’ve protected the right to an abortion. As your governor, I’ve supported small businesses and made Nevada’s economy stronger.

But that progress we’ve made? It could be wiped away if my opponent wins.

When I ran for office in 2018, I didn’t do it for myself. I joined this race to fight for you. To put your priorities first, to listen to our communities, and to uphold the truth.

And I’m proud of the job we’ve done. But there’s still work left to do.

We have the chance to keep the Silver State moving in the right direction. And frankly, the alternative is terrifying. We have a MAGA Republican who, if elected, would pander to his ultra-rich donors like billionaire real estate moguls, take marching orders from Donald Trump, roll back a woman’s right to choose, and ban contraceptives – just to name a few.

Republicans are spending millions trying to defeat me so they can enact their extremist agenda. President Obama won’t stand for it, and I hope you won’t either.
