We’ve got one week to go before Election Day, which means we’ve got one week left to cast our vote. Early voting is available and millions of people have already voted early in person and by mail.

Sometimes we forget that in addition to being a right, civic responsibility, and chance to hold your elected officials accountable — voting can also be fun! So to make sure we are all prepared, we are here to provide seven activities in the final seven days of voting.

1. Check your voter registration status! 📝
We want you to feel totally prepared when you walk into your polling place — get ahead of any uncertainties by confirming your registration status, address, and name are all up to date. 

2. Chat with family and friends to make sure they have a voting plan! 👩‍👩‍👦‍👦
Send a quick text in the group chat to remind your friends and family not to miss out on this election (and let us know if anyone needs a ride to the polls)! 

3. Learn about your candidates! 📚
You’ll want to know who you’re voting for before you get in the booth and feel confident and ready during your big moment. Check out our ballot guides to find the candidates best aligned with your values. 

4. Find your polling place. 📍
If you’ve moved (or even if you haven’t), make sure you know where to go if you’re voting in person on Election Day.

5. Save the voter protection hotline in case you have any trouble. ☎️
Election Day is a well-organized, well-oiled machine, but like we said, the most important thing is to be prepared. Put this number down in your phone: 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683) and you’ll be ready for anything.

6. Share on social media that you plan to vote!📱
Post that Instagram story! Make a TikTok! Update your Facebook status (we won’t judge). Remind people that you’re an engaged voter by heading to your socials. 

7. Vote! 🗳
Time to do the thing! Whether it’s by mail, with early voting, or going in person on Election Day, don’t forget to cast your ballot in this consequential election.

Early voting and vote-by-mail are already widely available, so if you’re looking to cross something off your to-do list, you may be able to vote today. Make your voting plan to figure out what works best for you.

Voting means you get to elect representatives who work for you and will fight for what you care about. It’s time we see our values reflected in this election.
