I just took a look at our fundraising numbers from our big push these last couple days, and all I can say is — WOW.
Faced with toss-up polls and an onslaught of attack ads from our millionaire opponent, Tony and I asked for your help to fight back. This grassroots community stepped up and then some.
Thanks to you, we’re ready to launch our FINAL all-out Get Out The Vote push and give this everything we’ve got between now and November 8th. So I wanted to say a big and heartfelt thank you for all the ways you’ve stepped up — during this critical fundraising period and all throughout this election.
We’ve got just a little time left, and our multimillionaire opponent is going all out to defeat me and Tony. And the stakes simply could not be higher. If radical Tim Michels takes over the Governor’s Office, he will not only slash funding to public schools and end reproductive freedom — he’ll be a rubber stamp for Republicans in the 2024 presidential election, no matter how Wisconsin actually votes.
John, as you know, I’m not a career politician. I’m a nurse, a business person, and a proud Wisconsinite who cares about our future — and I think we can do better for all of us. That depends on reelecting Tony Evers to the Governor’s Office — period.
