John, Election Day is already just one week away!
That means we have just one more week to get out the vote for WFP candidates across the country — especially in critical races where polls show our candidates tied or within the margin of error.
We know that we can absolutely win close races for Congress and in statehouses across the country — but only if we make sure our people come out to vote. Here are a few of the races we’re hoping you’ll help us accelerate our efforts in, John:
In Oregon, Congressional candidate Jamie McLeod-Skinner’s race is in a dead heat, with one poll showing just a one percentage point separating Jamie from her anti-abortion opponent. If we lose the House, the next Congress could likely vote on a national abortion ban. We cannot leave a single seat up to chance. Make a contribution and help us close the gap for Jamie and other reproductive freedom champions across the country.
Michelle Vallejo is taking on a Trump- and McCarthy-backed opponent in South Texas. New polling this month show an even 45-45 split. We have to mobilize voters for Michelle and help send an organizer and advocate to Congress. Chip in $4 right now and help expand WFP’s get-out-the-vote efforts in Texas.

We’re also within striking distance of flipping Senate seats in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Winning those seats and expanding our majority would allow us to bypass obstructionist Democrats like Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema and finally end the filibuster.
If we win these races, keep the Democratic majority in the House, and expand our majority in the Senate, that it would open the door for legislation to protect abortion rights, voting rights, union strength, marriage equality, rebalance the right-wing Supreme Court, and so much more.
