The Trudeau government billed you for a $6,000 per night hotel room. And it won’t tell you who stayed in that room.

------------------------------------------------------------

Dear John,

It looks like you haven’t put your name on this petition yet. That’s OK. But we’re seeing thousands of other Canadians signing it already. And we thought maybe you just missed it.

If you think it’s wrong for the government to keep it secret who stayed in a hotel room for $6,000 per night, you might want to sign the petition.

Have a good one.

------------------------------------------------------------

Dear John,

The Trudeau government billed you for a $6,000 per night hotel room. And it won’t tell you who stayed in that room.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and other government bureaucrats travelled to London, England, to attend the Queen’s funeral.

The hotel rooms alone cost taxpayers $400,000.

Someone in Canada’s delegation stayed in a room that cost $6,000 per night for five nights. That means taxpayers like you paid $30,000 for one room over those five nights.

You’re on the hook for a huge hotel tab. But it gets worse.

The government won’t say WHO stayed in the $6,000 per night room.

Who do you think it was?

The government needs to come clean. You paid the bill. You deserve full transparency from the government.

You can demand full transparency with thousands of other Canadian taxpayers.

Please sign the online PETITION and join thousands of Canadians calling on the government to disclose who stayed in the $6,000 per night hotel room: [link removed] ([link removed])

Politicians like to brush off these issues. But we have to change the culture of overspending in Ottawa. And that means getting a handle on things like hotel bills.

We don’t expect the prime minister to stay in a Days Inn while travelling. But the Canadian delegation could have stayed in a hotel that cost less than the Corinthia Hotel.

“Several top-shelf hotels including The Four Seasons, The Langham, The Savoy, even the Shangri La all offer lower prices than the Corinthia,” according to the Toronto Sun.

You deserve to know who billed taxpayers for the hotel room that cost $6,000 per night.

Thanks for fighting for taxpayers – it’s making a difference!

Sincerely,
* Franco, Shannon, Todd and the rest of the CTF team.

PS: It’s bad enough that taxpayers are on the hook for a hotel room that cost $6,000 per night. But the government won’t tell you who stayed in that room. You paid the bill, you deserve the answer. You can stand with thousands of other Canadians and demand transparency by signing the online PETITION: [link removed] ([link removed])
