** Write for Rights Webinar 2022: Act for Chow Hang-Tung
------------------------------------------------------------

Chow, a student and vice-chairperson of the Hong Kong Alliance, has dedicated her life to fearlessly protecting people’s rights as a human rights lawyer and activist. Chow is now serving 22 months in jail for peacefully remembering the victims of a horrific crackdown. Join Amnesty International's webinar for secondary school students and teachers on Tuesday 15th November at 12pm to learn more.

** Addressing Gender Based Violence - Youth Work Symposium

Youth Work Ireland is hosting an event which will focus on the role of youth work in supporting positive gender identity and consent and will provide a chance for practitioners to share their work on this issue. The symposium takes place on Wednesday 2nd November from 11:30am - 3pm in the National Offices of Youth Work Ireland.

‘Design Your Future City’ is a free two-week programme for TY students offered by Academy of the Near Future. During this two week programme, you will explore the technology behind a ‘smart city’ in creative hands-on workshops, reflect on the challenges facing your communities and create your own idea to try and solve it.

Involve youth Project Meath have secured funding through the Dormant Accounts funds to deliver 5 FREE workshops on the development of their youth mental health board game. Four of these workshops will be held Nationally and 1 online throughout the month of November.
