Through the DCAS Office of Citywide Recruitment (OCR) and Community Partners, Espaillat Encourages District Residents to Apply
NEW YORK, NY -- Today, in collaboration with the DCAS Office of Citywide Recruitment (OCR), Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) encourages constituents throughout New York's 13th congressional district to apply for NYC government jobs and civil service exams.
NYC civil service exams for October 2022 are now open for filing. This month, we are highlighting exams for the following titles:
Electrician Electrician (NYC H & H) Elevator Mechanic Environmental Police Officer Heating Plant Technician (Housing Authority) Landscape Architect Occupational Therapist (DOE) Physical Therapist (DOE) Plasterer Probation Officer Traffic Enforcement Agent

As of August 2, 2021, all newly hired City employees must be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, unless they have applied for and been granted a reasonable accommodation for religion or disability. If you are offered City employment, this requirement must be met by your date of hire, unless a reasonable accommodation for exemption is received and approved by your hiring agency.

1. Call (212) 669-1357. 2. Log into your account online in the Online Application System (OASys). 3. E-mail DCAS at: [email protected]. 4. Find a testing center near you. DCAS has a testing center located in every borough. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, walk-ins are no longer accepted. Appointments must be scheduled online through OASys.
