Team, I didn’t plan to send you another email tonight. But there are just hours left until our final end-of-month fundraising deadline, and we’re dangerously close to falling short of our goal. We don’t get a do-over. We cannot make up a missed fundraising goal this close to the election. If we don’t hit this goal, the election will be over.

The truth is, the week ahead will be an uphill battle. My opponent has spent nearly $2 million on his own campaign, and with Kevin McCarthy’s super PAC doubling down and spending another $1,000,000 to defeat me, it will take ALL of our grassroots supporters stepping up to help us match them dollar for dollar. If we fail to reach our goal, we could risk giving this seat, and control of Congress, to my far-right opponent. We can’t let that happen. This goal is a must-hit for our campaign, and crossing the finish line will come down to individual grassroots supporters like you. That's why I'm asking just one last time: Will you please chip in before midnight to help us reach our $20,000 goal and close our budget gap before midnight?
