Folks, it's Halloween, my favorite holiday. I've got trick-or-treaters en route to my house but I wanted to send you a quick note before they get here.

I'm dressing up as a zombie chef, but there's something much scarier on the loose tonight, and that's the prospect of a Republican majority sweeping into Washington next month. By now you've probably seen the headlines, like this one from the New York Times the other day:

Senate Forecasts Have Moved Toward Republicans In The Final Stretch Before Election Day

Now that's scary! Frankly, it should be a wakeup call to all Democrats that we need to give it all we've got for these next 9 days.

Before you head out to your Halloween festivities tonight, I'm asking everyone reading this to please dig deep and donate before our midnight deadline to help us keep the House and Senate blue.

Our progress is on the line. Our children's future is on the line — from climate change, to reproductive rights, to gun safety. It's a scary time, but I know if Democrats pull together in these final days, chip in what we can, and hit the polls on November 8, we can do this.

Please give what you can before midnight, then go have yourself a safe and happy Halloween.
