Tonight at midnight is our final end-of-month fundraising deadline of this campaign! Right now, we're still short of our fundraising goal, so I wanted to quickly reach out to share why it's crucial we don't come up short.
Control of the House majority hinges on Washington's 8th District, and election experts call this race a "toss-up." Republicans are flooding our race with over $8 MILLION to attack me and help my extreme opponent, Matt Larkin, flip this seat red. If we miss tonight's goal, we risk not having the resources to fight back.
john – there's too much at stake for us to fall behind now and risk losing our House majority. Larkin wants to help Republicans in Congress ban abortion without exceptions for rape or incest, gut Social Security and Medicare, defund the VA and healthcare for Veterans, and said he "aligns with Marjorie Taylor Greene on a lot of issues."
Larkin is too extreme to represent us in Congress, but his national Republican allies will do – and spend – whatever it takes to help him win. With just over one week until Election Day, I need the support of this grassroots team to help me fight back and protect this seat.
