POLLING ALERT! The New York Times/Siena poll out today "shows Democrats
slightly ahead in key Senate races."
This may come as a surprise if you've been riding the "pollercoaster"
recently. Just last week headlines warned of a possible "red tsunami."
But check this out. In their write-up, the Times says "Most of the polling
over the last few weeks has come from partisan outfits -- usually
Republican." Republican operatives have been furiously pushing out the
results of skewed, partisan polls and the media took the bait.
Here's the bottom line: Control of Congress very much still hangs in the
balance.
