John,
Escalating conflict Ukraine is pushing the country further into humanitarian catastrophe as hospitals run out of medical supplies, and electricity and power is cut off in many areas.
Early estimates indicate that nearly 30% of the population are likely to require life-saving humanitarian assistance with little time to rebuild before winter sets in.
Funds are urgently needed to ensure that families living in areas with limited or no access to electricity or gas can get through the bitterly cold winter months. Can you make a donation today to help displaced families in Ukraine and around the world? »

IRC staff members assess damaged buildings with officials in eastern Ukraine. |
The IRC is helping communities prepare for more severe winter weather — temperatures in hard-hit areas of Ukraine are expected to plummet to as low as -5°F.
We are distributing thermal blankets, fuel stoves and supporting families with cash to help them purchase the most essential winter supplies in places they are still available.
We urgently need additional funds to power our winter response in Ukraine and other places where people have been displaced by conflict and disaster.
