The Western Proppants, LLC, of 5027 Road, Yoder, WY, 82244, has filed a regular
mining permit application with the Land Quality Division of the Wyoming Department of
Environmental Quality for the mining of sand in Goshen County, Wyoming. The mine
approximately 3.78 miles northeast of Torrington on Sheep Creek Road and 55F, across the road
north of the Wyoming Medium Correctional Facility. The application may be viewed at the
Cheyenne Office of the Land Quality Division. The application will be readvertised for public
comment prior to approval by the Department of Environmental Quality.
