Happy Halloween, team!
Putting aside the trick-or-treating, tonight is a big deal for two reasons:
1. It’s our first home game of the World Series – go Phillies!
2. It’s also our FINAL end-of-month budgeting deadline ahead of the election – and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
Should the GOP flip the House next week, legislators will block progress and work to undo all our accomplishments from the last 2 years – like making medication more affordable for seniors, modernizing our infrastructure, and investing in efforts to fight climate change, to name a few. We can’t go backwards, and that’s why I’ll do all that I can, and fight as hard as I can, to defend our House majority – and I again ask for your help.
